Good old-fashioned love and traditional romance inspired the launch of The Modern Matchmaker, Pittsburgh’s premier, personalized matchmaking and dating service. WHIRL Magazine and The Modern Matchmaker paired to host Cupid Uncorked: A Valentine’s Singles Mixer, where more than 100 Pittsburgh singles were charmed at SAVOY Restaurant. The warm ambiance and lofty architecture of SAVOY offered couples intimacy and the perfect amount of privacy. Cupid, otherwise known as Susan Dunhoff, president of The Modern Matchmaker, encouraged attendees to socialize. “These types of events give people a chance to meet face-to-face, and I just feel that everyone should be matched,” Dunhoff says. In addition to a portion of Dunhoff’s clientele, the event invited new applicants in search of their one true love. “I really look forward to hosting more of these types of events with WHIRL. We’ve made people very happy.”‍
